The modules are 105 cm wide and can take on different functions: entrance, kitchen, toilet, shower, closet or stairs. These are then assembled according to the plan to form a coherent room or building. The possibilities are almost unlimited: For example, a changing room, spare room when renovating a day care center, information boxes, as an extension for your own home, as a tiny home or a student residence.
Container feeling doesn't even come up here, because a MakeHome can be combined, expanded and equipped with high-quality equipment as required. Each module takes on a function: kitchen, toilet, hand basin, shower, cupboard and stairs and much more. Each segment has a front area, if you combine several, the area expands.
Together with the students of the RWTH and various craft businesses (Genotec, Zaunbrecher & Classen) we worked out the MakeHome. Above all, the smart little building should become energy self-sufficient and generate and store its own needs. This is done using an energy-generating roof skin. This is how attractive modular construction made by Braunarchitecture looks.
